key responsibilities

installation:

install, connect, and test electrical wiring, conduits, cables, lighting fixtures, and control systems according to blueprints and technical specifications.

install safety and distribution components like switches, circuit-breaker panels, resistors, and relays.

plan and execute the layout of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

maintenance and repair:

perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and components (., transformers, circuit breakers, motors).

diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and faults using testing devices (., multimeters, test lamps) and repair or replace defective wiring, equipment, and parts.

service and repair domestic and industrial electrical appliances and machinery.

safety and compliance:

ensure all installations and repairs comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards (., earthing and grounding).

adhere strictly to safety procedures and precautionary measures to prevent hazards.

documentation and planning:

read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute work.

maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment inventory.

collaborate with other team members, such as plumbers and construction workers, to coordinate and complete projects.
