budget management: prepare design cost estimates and work within project budgets. provide value engineering solutions to balance aesthetics with cost-effectiveness.

quality assurance: ensure that design specifications are adhered to and that high standards of craftsmanship and quality are maintained throughout the construction process.

project documentation: create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules. ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

site visits: conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure that design intentions are being met. coordinate with contractors and suppliers as necessary.
