key responsibilities
1. project leadership & management
project execution: take ownership of multiple high-profile projects, ensuring all phases—from initial brief to final installation—are delivered on time and within budget.
budget & cost control: prepare comprehensive project budgets, cost estimates, and detailed schedules. track all project expenses and negotiate favorable terms with vendors and suppliers.
timeline management: develop and manage detailed project timelines and milestones, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays or roadblocks.
quality assurance: conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure construction and installation adhere strictly to design specifications, quality standards, and building codes/regulations.
2. design & conceptualization
client consultation & briefing: conduct in-depth consultations with clients to fully understand their goals, needs, budget, and aesthetic vision, translating these requirements into a viable design brief.
conceptual design: develop and present compelling and innovative design concepts, including mood boards, material palettes, 2d drawings, and high-quality 3d renderings/visualizations.
detailed design documentation: prepare and oversee the creation of comprehensive technical drawings, construction documents, and specifications (ff&e - furniture, fixtures, and equipment) for contractors and trades.
material selection & sourcing: research, specify, and procure all materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and custom millwork, focusing on quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
