The ICU Technician will provide assistance and support to medical staff in the intensive care unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vital signs, operating and maintaining medical equipment, performing tests and procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor patient vital signs: Regularly check and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, and report any abnormalities to medical staff.
2. Operate medical equipment: Set up, operate, and maintain equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, and cardiac monitors to assist in patient care.
3. Perform tests and procedures: Assist with collecting samples, conducting tests, and administering treatments as directed by medical staff.
4. Ensure patient comfort and safety: Provide basic patient care, such as bathing and feeding, and take measures to prevent infections and injuries in the ICU.
Required Skills and Expectations:
