as an icu nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, promote optimal patient outcomes, and support patients' families.
key responsibilities:
1. patient assessment: conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
2. care planning: develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patients' needs and goals.
3. life-sustaining interventions: manage life-sustaining equipment, such as ventilators, and administer medications as prescribed.
4. monitoring and surveillance: continuously monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify changes in patient condition.
5. collaboration and communication: work effectively with the interdisciplinary team, communicating patients' needs, concerns, and progress.
6. family support: provide emotional support and education to patients' families, addressing their concerns and needs.

requirements:
1. education: bsc nursing or equivalent degree.
2. experience: critical care experience preferred.
3. certifications: bls, acls, and other relevant certifications.
