Job Description

erform welding on boilers, pressure vessels, and steam piping as per IBR standards.

Follow approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).

Carry out SMAW / GTAW (TIG) welding as required.

Read and understand fabrication drawings and isometric drawings.

Ensure proper joint preparation and fit-up before welding.

Maintain welding quality to meet inspection and testing requirements (NDT, Hydro test).

Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE at site.

Coordinate with QA/QC and IBR inspectors during inspections.
