Job Description

A hydraulic mechanic, also known as a hydraulic technician, maintains, installs, and repairs hydraulic systems and components in machinery. Their responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting: Identifying issues with hydraulic systems and equipment problems

Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance to anticipate issues before they occur

Repair: Disassembling and repairing hydraulic pumps, motors, and related parts

Assembly: Assembling new hydraulic parts and reassembling machines and equipment

Documentation: Keeping records of all repair and maintenance work, including cost estimates based on drawings, codes, and procedures

Training: Providing training and technical support to end-users
