1. recruitment & onboarding
manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various departments, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating final interviews.
negotiate salary offers and prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
conduct comprehensive new-hire orientations and complete all necessary onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
2. employee relations & engagement
act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding hr policies, benefits, compensation, and general workplace issues.
assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
support initiatives focused on employee engagement, morale building, and workplace culture (., surveys, team events, internal communications).
3. administration & compliance
maintain and update all employee records, files (both physical and digital), and hr databases accurately and confidentially.
administer employee benefits programs (., health insurance, leave policies, retirement plans).
process monthly payroll inputs by ensuring accurate attendance records, leave tracking, and coordination with the finance department.
ensure company policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
4. performance management & training
coordinate and administer the annual and mid-year performance appraisal processes.
identify training needs and assist in the organization and logistics of employee training and development programs.
qualifications & requirements
essential
education: bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
experience: 2-4 years of proven experience in a generalist hr role.
knowledge: solid understanding of core hr functions, best practices, and relevant labor laws (., minimum wage, statutory compliance).
skills: proficiency in microsoft office suite (especially excel for data analysis and reporting).
