*role overview*
the property manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned property, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-managed living environment for all residents. this role requires strong coordination, people management, and problem-solving skills. the property manager will act as the primary point of contact for tenants and staff and is accountable for the smooth functioning of all on-site activities.
*key responsibilities*
* supervise daily property operations, including housekeeping, security, and maintenance.
* manage tenant check-ins, check-outs, documentation, and room allocations, rent collection.
* ensure the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of all common areas and rooms.
* address tenant queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
* monitor occupancy levels, utilities consumption, and overall property performance.
* coordinate repair and maintenance work with internal teams and external vendors.
* ensure compliance with company policies, sops, and safety standards.
* maintain discipline and harmony within the property among residents and staff.
* conduct daily inspections to check hygiene, operational readiness, and asset condition.
* track staff attendance, duty rosters, and performance of housekeeping and security teams.
* prepare and submit daily reports on property status, issues, and operational updates.
* assist in onboarding new staff and support operational improvements when required.
*qualifications & requirements*
* 1–3 years of experience in property, hostel, pg, hotel, or facility management.
* strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* ability to handle conflicts, solve problems, and manage staff effectively.
* basic knowledge of excel and emails for reporting
* basic understanding of housekeeping, maintenance, and safety protocols.
* comfortable working on-site and managing operations independently.
