🛠️ job role & responsibilities – home caregivers:

caregivers will assist patients with daily living activities, including:

✅ giving sponge baths or full body cleaning

✅ assisting in changing diapers / adult pads

✅ feeding the patient (oral/ng tube if needed)

✅ turning and positioning bed-ridden patients to prevent bed sores

✅ helping with toileting and hygiene

✅ monitoring basic vitals (temperature, pulse, etc.)

✅ mobility support (transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking assistance)

✅ administering simple medication (under guidance)

✅ providing companionship and emotional support

✅ keeping the patient’s room clean and hygienic

✅ reporting any health concerns to family or supervising nurse
