Histopathology Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing tissue samples for analysis under the supervision of a pathologist

2. Embedding tissue samples in paraffin wax and cutting thin sections for microscopic examination

3. Staining tissue sections with special dyes to highlight specific structures or abnormalities

4. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as microtomes, staining machines, and slide scanners

5. Organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment in the laboratory
