we are seeking a skilled and experienced heavy truck driver to transport goods and materials from one place to another. the ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (cdl), a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

key responsibilities:

* safely operate heavy trucks: drive heavy trucks, including tractor-trailers, tanker trucks, and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials.

* pre-trip and post-trip inspections: conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

* navigate routes: plan and navigate routes to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.

* load and unload cargo: load and unload cargo, including securing and protecting goods during transport.

* comply with regulations: comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.

* maintain vehicle maintenance: perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil and tire pressure, to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.

* communicate with dispatchers and customers: communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.

* manage time and routes: manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle delays or changes in routes.

* handle emergency situations: handle emergency situations, such as accidents or breakdowns, in a calm and professional manner.

requirements:

* valid cdl: a valid commercial driver's license (cdl) with a clean driving record.

* driving experience: at least 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks.

* safety record: a strong commitment to safety and a clean safety record.

* physical stamina: ability to handle long hours of driving, lifting, and bending.
