About the Role

Myna Mahila is implementing Swarna Nav Disha, a reproductive health initiative across 13

health facilities in Kuppam constituency, in partnership with KADA and Aditya Birla Hindalco

CSR. This project will train 345 healthcare providers (ASHA workers, ANMs) who will deliver

counseling to 8,000+ community beneficiaries through a cascading model.

We seek a motivated Health Counselor to provide direct counseling, support capacity building of

frontline workers, and monitor counseling quality across facilities. You will assist in developing

training and quality monitoring skills with guidance from experienced program managers while

delivering technology-enabled counseling services.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Counseling Services

— Provide individual counseling for SRH cases (complications, difficult decisions,

adolescent support)

— Facilitate group counseling sessions for specific populations (postpartum women, newly

married couples)

— Deliver telecounseling through mHealth app and Myna Bolo chatbot platform

— Conduct demonstration counseling sessions during training programs to model best

Training Support (with mentorship)

— Assist master trainers in delivering capacity building programs for ASHA workers ,

ANMs and other frontline workers

— Support development of training materials, case studies, and counseling scripts

— Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to trained frontline workers

— Learn and apply training delivery techniques with guidance from experienced trainers

Quality Monitoring (using provided tools)

— Monitor counseling sessions conducted by trained ASHA workers and ANMs using

standardized observation tools

— Conduct facility visits across 13 facilities and provide constructive feedback to providers

— Track counseling quality indicators (session duration, information completeness, client

satisfaction)

— Conduct client exit interviews and document quality observations

Technology & Data Management

— Use mHealth app and Myna Bolo chatbot for telecounseling delivery

— Record all counseling sessions, client data, and outcomes in digital platforms accurately

and timely

— Capture data from monitoring visits and training sessions using apps and digital tools

— Train ASHA workers and ANMs on technology platform usage for data recording

Critical Competencies

Required:

— Strong clinical counseling skills in reproductive health, family planning, and adolescent

health

— Experience conducting client-centered counseling in individual and group settings

— Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for counseling and providing feedback

— Comfortable with technology platforms (mobile apps, chatbots, digital data capture

systems)

— Strong data recording and documentation skills using digital tools and apps

— Cultural sensitivity for addressing sensitive reproductive health topics

— Fluency in written and spoken English and Telugu

— Willingness to travel extensively across 13 facilities in Kuppam constituency
