key responsibilities:
1. perform gynecological examinations and assessments:
- conduct thorough check-ups and examinations to assess the reproductive health of female patients.
2. diagnose and treat gynecological conditions:
- use diagnostic tests and medical history to identify and treat various gynecological issues such as endometriosis, fibroids, or infertility.
3. perform surgical procedures:
- conduct surgeries such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, or laparoscopic procedures to address gynecological problems.
4. provide prenatal care:
- monitor the health of pregnant patients, conduct ultrasounds, and provide guidance on diet and lifestyle during pregnancy.
5. offer counseling and education:
- educate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, sexually transmitted infections, and menopause management.
required skills and expectations:
1. mbbs degree with specialization in obstetrics and gynecology.
2. possess a md/medicine doctor or ms/master of surgery degree.
3. proficiency in sonology for conducting ultrasounds and interpreting results.
4. ability to manage medications and prescribe appropriate treatments for gynecological conditions.
5. experience in performing surgical procedures related to gynecology.
6. knowledge and experience with in vitro fertilization (ivf) procedures.
7. strong communication skills to effectively counsel and educate patients on various gynecological issues.
