General Anaesthesiologist / Cardiac Anaesthesiologist Cum Intensivist

As a General Anaesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective anaesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures. You will work in Jalandhar as part of a dedicated medical team focused on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients before surgery to understand their medical history and determine the appropriate anaesthesia plan. This ensures that each patient receives tailored anaesthetic care.

- Anaesthesia Administration: Administer anaesthesia during surgical procedures, monitoring patients closely to maintain optimal levels of sedation and pain management throughout the operation.

- Monitoring Patient Vital Signs: Continuously monitor vital signs and reactions during surgery, adjusting anaesthetic levels as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.

- Post-Operative Care: Provide care to patients in the recovery room post-surgery, ensuring they regain consciousness safely and manage any immediate post-operative discomfort.

- Collaboration with Surgeons: Work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to plan and implement anaesthesia techniques that best suit each surgical procedure.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Ideal candidates should hold a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in anaesthesia. A minimum of 1 to 7 years of experience in the field is essential. You must have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring patients effectively. A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety is a must.
