Job Description

As a Gastroenterologist, you will focus on diagnosing and treating conditions related to the digestive system. You will work directly with patients at our Kattappana location and provide essential healthcare services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Patient Consultations:** Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and symptoms to understand their digestive health issues.

- **Diagnostic Testing:** Perform and interpret tests such as endoscopies and colonoscopies, which help identify problems within the gastrointestinal tract.

- **Treatment Plans:** Develop personalized treatment plans based on the diagnosis, including prescribing medications or recommending lifestyle changes.

- **Patient Education:** Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, ensuring they understand how to manage their health effectively.

- **Collaboration with Medical Team:** Work closely with nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

- **Follow-Up Care:** Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you should have an MD in Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology. New graduates and those with up to six years of experience are encouraged to apply.
