Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing various types of furniture items, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role requires strong technical knowledge, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. The Furniture Carpenter will play a crucial role in producing high-quality furniture pieces that meet the expectations of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Construct and assemble furniture items, including but not limited to cabinets, tables, chairs, and other custom pieces.

Interpret and follow blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to ensure accurate production of furniture items.

Utilize a variety of tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment, to shape and assemble wood and other materials.

Inspect and ensure the quality of materials used in production, recommending changes or adjustments when necessary.

Repair and refurbish existing furniture items, addressing issues such as scratches, dents, and structural damage.

Collaborate with the design team to understand client requirements and provide input on the feasibility and practicality of designs.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper storage of tools and materials.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.

Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance skillset and contribute to the continuous improvement of our furniture production processes.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Furniture Carpenter or similar role in a reputable furniture manufacturing company.
