this is a contract/consultancy founding software developer/engineering role, and we are looking for an ambitious and goal-oriented person who can deliver an entire e-learning/lms web development project from scratch, help build the entire development team around him/her and grow into such roles as cto who has a stake in the enterprise spanning multiple businesses and upon satisfying some labour law requirements.

• design and develop the front-end and back-end of the e-learning website, with a similar look and feel to a successful learning platform that will be provided as a model.

• build custom learning management system from scratch or integrate and customize appropriate and suitable open-source learning management system into the website.

• build or integrate and customize appropriate and suitable content management system into the website.

• integrate multimedia elements such as videos, quizzes, and games into the website

• implement features that will allow students to grade other students’ works on the same course, modeled after the merging features of a learning platform that will be provided as a model.

• implement a user-friendly interface that allows students to easily navigate through the website and find the resources they need

• develop a system that allows students to track their progress and receive feedback on their performance

• implement a payment gateway to allow students to purchase/subscribe for full access to courses on the learning platform.

• ensure that the website is fully responsive and can be accessed on various devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.

• be able to lead all aspects of web development including software design, task allocation, implementation, testing, documentation, ongoing support, and maintenance.

• be able to develop scalable application in the future that can support 1000s of simultaneous users
