Front end FileMaker programmer - Business Solutions Developer

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced FileMaker Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing applications using filemaker, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, project managers, and business stakeholders, to understand application requirements.

Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient FileMaker solutions to meet business needs.

Create and maintain documentation for all aspects of the FileMaker applications, including data structures, layouts, scripts, and workflows.

Perform regular testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.

Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to optimize user experience.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FileMaker applications.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in FileMaker technology to propose and implement best practices.

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a FileMaker Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.

Proficient in FileMaker Pro Advanced and experienced in creating solutions with FileMaker 18 and above.

Strong understanding of database design principles and relational database management systems.

Solid knowledge of scripting, calculations, and automation within FileMaker.

Experience with integrating FileMaker solutions with other systems and technologies.

Experience in an scripting language like Perl or Python will be an added advantage

Understanding of web methods and web applications
