Job Description

Install, test, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems.

Install and maintain smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, strobes, and modules.

Install and troubleshoot fire alarm control panels.

Test fire alarm devices and ensure proper system operation.

Diagnose and rectify faults in wiring, detectors, control panels, and communication devices.

Read and understand electrical drawings, fire alarm layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections.

Assist with system commissioning, testing, and project handover.

Prepare inspection, maintenance, and service reports.

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other MEP technicians.

Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and safety procedures.

Follow applicable Oman Civil Protection / fire-safety requirements.

Attend emergency alarm faults and respond quickly to system failures.
