ABOUT THE ROLE

Italy is one of the world's leading producers of wine, olive oil, and fresh produce. We are recruiting Seasonal Farm and Vineyard Workers for acclaimed agricultural estates in Tuscany. Workers will participate in the full cycle of farming operations including pruning, harvesting, sorting and packaging. Accommodation, meals and transport are included, making this an excellent all-inclusive opportunity for candidates seeking European work experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grape harvesting by hand and machine-assisted methods during the vendemmia (harvest season)

• Pruning, tying and training vines throughout the growing season

• Fruit picking for olives, citrus, stone fruits and vegetables across orchard fields

• Sorting and grading produce according to export quality specifications

• Applying fertiliser, pesticides and water under agronomist guidance

• Operating small agricultural machinery including mini tractors and pruning tools

• General farm maintenance including fence repair, irrigation pipe laying and drainage clearing

• Assisting the cellar team during the wine production post-harvest period (optional)

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• No formal educational qualification required

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in sun, rain and rural environments

• Hardworking, punctual and willing to follow farm supervisors instructions

• Basic English or Italian communication helpful but not essential

• Prior farm, garden, outdoor or manual labour experience is an advantage

• Female and male candidates equally welcome

• Age between 20 and 45 years

• Valid passport with minimum 18 months validity at time of travel
