Hiring For Factory Planner

Factory Planner is an intelligent planning and scheduling system. It is an intelligent replacement for the master production scheduling and capacity requirements planning modules, in existing MRP II systems.

Factory Planner is a planning tool which produces a Master Production Schedule, using material and

capacity constraints.

What you’ll do:

• Recreate new customer environment on Azure based on existing setup.

• As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for hands-on implementation of complex IT systems, bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring quality/security and resolving issues.

• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it

• Responsible for developing data interfaces, customized scripts and batch jobs screens that meet the customers' business objectives.

• Provide technical end user support during the 'go-live' and post go live period

• Setup and coordinate user acceptance testing efforts which will support final acceptance and critical phase sign-off by the business owners

What we are looking for:

• Current or prior experience working on Supply Chain domain preferred.

• Preferably prior experience working with BY Factory Planner solution, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers.

• Preferably Level1 BY FP training completed successfully.

• Knowledge/Expertise on related Blue Yonder planning solutions – BY ESP preferred.

• Relevant implementation experience within the areas of detailed production planning or scheduling or manufacturing execution systems preferred.

• Strong business analysis skills, understanding of manufacturing processes and shopfloor realities in a factory environment.

• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required

Primary Skill-set:

o Proficient in analysing Informatica scripts

o Sound knowledge of Oracle database and SQL scripts

o Hands-on knowledge on Linux operating system and shell scripting

o Ability to understand scripts (shell,batch,perl,python,sql etc)

o Azure & relevant tools and technologies

o Strong understanding of weblogic/Tomcat application servers
