Role Overview

The IT Head will be responsible for end-to-end IT strategy, systems, automation, software development, data management, and digital transformation of the organization.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams and personally work on coding, Google Sheets automation, dashboards, system integrations, and process digitization.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

Define and execute IT roadmap aligned with business goals

Lead and mentor internal IT team and external vendors

Ensure system scalability, security, and reliability

2. Software Development & Automation

Hands-on experience in coding, scripting, and system automation

Design and implement:

Internal software tools

Web-based forms & portals

Workflow automation

Experience with:

JavaScript / Apps Script / Python / PHP (any relevant stack)

API integrations

Database handling

3. Google Sheets & MIS Expertise (Critical)

Advanced Google Sheets usage:

Complex formulas

Dashboards

Automation using Google Apps Script

Build MIS, trackers, reports for:

Operations

HR

Sales

Compliance

Integration of Sheets with:

Forms

Emails

PDFs

Drive

4. Systems & Infrastructure

Oversee:

ERP / Accounting / Inventory systems

Servers, networks, data security

Vendor coordination for hardware, cloud, licenses, etc.

Backup, disaster recovery & cybersecurity controls

5. Digital Transformation

Digitize manual processes across departments

Implement paperless workflows

Improve data accuracy, reporting speed, and decision-making

6. Compliance & Data Security

Ensure IT compliance with:

Data security policies

Audit requirements

Access control, user roles, and system governance
