Senior Electrical Technician

We are a well-established engineering maintenance company operating across multiple commercial and industrial sites in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Electrical Technician with strong hands-on skills and the confidence to work independently - someone who knows their way around UPS systems, switchgear, and medium voltage equipment without needing constant supervision.

This is a field-based, client-facing role. You will be expected to inspect, troubleshoot, and document - and also communicate findings clearly to clients and coordinate with suppliers. If you have GCC experience, even better. If not, we will support your transition.

We will support you in obtaining Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification after joining, at no cost to you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems, transformers, switchgear, ATS, and related equipment

• Install and commission electrical systems - cable routing and termination, panels, switchgear, ATS, and backup power setups

• Conduct testing, commissioning, and startup activities before project handover

• Prepare snag lists, technical reports, maintenance logs, and quotations for spare parts and service works

• Coordinate with local suppliers and workshops for repairs and procurement, keeping quality and cost in check

• Communicate findings and scope of work clearly to clients on site

• Support site operations: manage daily work activities, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with engineers and project managers

• Maintain strict safety compliance at all times across all sites

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on electrical experience, with strong troubleshooting ability

• Solid working knowledge of switchgear, ATS, UPS systems (APC, Vertiv, or Eaton preferred), medium voltage equipment, PDUs, and GPUs

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering (required)

• NCVT / State Technical Board certification is a plus

• Wireman or Supervisor License from an Indian State Electricity Board is a plus

• Experience with medium voltage (MV) switching and safety procedures

• International safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are an advantage

• Good English communication skills - written and spoken

• Computer literate - MS Excel, Word, and email

• Valid driving license (Saudi or GCC preferred, or willingness to convert)

• Prior GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory
