Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for a variety of projects, ensuring that they meet both technical specifications and industry standards. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and other design professionals to provide high-quality, functional electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Drafting: Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

System Design: Design electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, controls, and low-voltage systems based on project requirements and industry standards.

Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the integration of electrical systems with other building systems.

Specification Writing: Assist in the preparation of electrical system specifications, including equipment, materials, and installation methods.

Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant local, state, and national electrical codes (., NEC, IEC).

Project Support: Provide technical support during the construction and installation phases of electrical systems.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve design issues, providing solutions for technical challenges.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and other project-related documents.

Site Visits: Conduct site surveys and inspections as needed to gather data and ensure proper implementation of designs.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate€™s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience.
