- Conduct EEG tests on patients: Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients to record electrical activity in the brain using specialized equipment.
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures: Prep patients for EEG tests by explaining the procedure, positioning them properly, and attaching electrodes to their scalp.
- Monitor patients during tests: Monitor patients throughout EEG tests to ensure accurate readings and comfort during the procedure.
- Analyze EEG results: Analyze EEG recordings to identify abnormalities or patterns that may indicate neurological disorders or conditions.
- Maintain EEG equipment: Ensure EEG equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned to ensure accurate readings and patient safety.
Skills and Expectations:
- Diploma in EEG technology or related field.
- 3-9 years of experience working as an EEG Technician.
- Strong understanding of EEG procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately analyze EEG recordings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
