Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform echocardiograms: Conduct echocardiogram tests on patients to provide high-quality images for interpretation by cardiologists.
2. Prepare patients: Ensure patients are properly positioned and prepared for echocardiogram procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
3. Maintain equipment: Keep echocardiogram machines clean, calibrated, and in good working condition to ensure accurate test results.
4. Record and analyze results: Document test results accurately and thoroughly for review by cardiologists, including measurements and observations.
5. Assist cardiologists: Collaborate with cardiologists to provide additional support during echocardiogram procedures when needed.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Diploma in a relevant field: Possess a diploma in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills.
2. Experience with echocardiography: Have at least 1-7 years of experience conducting echocardiogram tests to ensure proficiency in performing the job duties.
3. Attention to detail: Pay close attention to detail when conducting tests and documenting results to ensure accuracy and precision.
4. Communication skills: Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide necessary information, as well as collaborating with cardiologists during procedures.
