job description:

the horizontal directional drill (hdd) technician position which is responsible for repairing and maintaining horizontal directional drill (hdd) machine. other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned. this position may require field work including overtime, weekends, holidays and off hours and work.

requirements:

• assist with all aspects of projects as needed

• proper installation techniques

• ability to properly maintain the equipment, check fluid levels, and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle/equipment to assure your vehicle/equipment is performing at optimum safety, perform the required pre-trip, post trip inspections and the required reports, perform needed maintenance including winterizing equipment.

• accurately complete progress forms, project activity reports and all other documentation pertaining to work assignments

• familiar with proper safety equipment and instruct new trainees in the proper use of the equipment and installation per the design

qualifications:

• bachelor in engineering

• high school diploma or the equivalent is required.

experience:

• minimum 4 years
