perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy trucks, trailers, and diesel engines.
troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, axle, brake, and suspension systems.
conduct overhauls of diesel engines, fuel systems, and related components.
perform electrical and electronic diagnostics using specialized tools.
ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
maintain detailed service records and parts usage logs.
collaborate with other mechanics and supervisors to ensure timely job completion.
qualifications & experience:
minimum 5–7 years of experience in heavy truck and diesel engine maintenance.
diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering or automotive technology.
strong knowledge of brands such as mercedes-benz, volvo, man, scania, or similar.
experience with diagnostics tools and fault-finding software.
ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams.
good communication and teamwork skills.
