Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Defining the Design Language and visual strategy for the organization.
Setting long-term design goals that align with the company’s business objectives.
Staying ahead of industry trends and integrating new technologies (like AI design tools) into the workflow.
2. Team Management
Mentoring and coaching junior and senior designers.
Resource planning: Assigning tasks based on individual strengths and managing project timelines.
Conducting design reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain high output quality.
3. Project & Process Oversight
Implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline the design process.
Managing budgets for the design department, including software licenses and external agency fees.
Collaborating with stakeholders (Clients, CEOs, or Product Owners) to translate their requirements into actionable design briefs.
4. Technical Quality Control
Ensuring all designs meet technical specifications (., structural safety in Architecture or usability standards in UX).
Overseeing the final approval of all prototypes, blueprints, or digital assets.
