Role Description

A Deputy Manager in R&D for Liquid and Wood Finish Paints and Coatings plays a pivotal role in developing innovative products, ensuring quality, and meeting customer specifications. The key responsibilities and qualifications for this position include:

Key Responsibilities:

New Product Development: Design and develop paint formulations tailored to customer specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Formulation Optimization: Enhance existing formulations to improve performance, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.

Testing and Evaluation: Conduct laboratory and field tests to assess paint performance, durability, and adherence to industry standards.

Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with customer requirements.

Technical Support: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the successful application of products.

Production Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing teams to facilitate the scale-up of formulations from laboratory to full production, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.

Key Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Paint Technology, Polymer Technology, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in R&D, formulation development, or a related role within the paint or coatings industry, focusing on liquid and wood finish products.
