Job Description

As a Cssd Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained. Your work will support the healthcare team in delivering safe and effective patient care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Sterilization of Instruments:** You will be responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are free from contaminants before use.

- **Inventory Management:** Maintain an organized inventory of all sterilized items, tracking usage and ensuring that all instruments are readily available for procedures.

- **Quality Control Checks:** Conduct routine inspections and tests on sterilized equipment to ensure they meet health and safety standards.

- **Adherence to Protocols:** Follow established procedures and guidelines for infection control and sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with hospital regulations.

- **Documentation:** Record all sterilization activities and report any discrepancies or maintenance needs to your supervisor.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

You should have at least 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or clinical setting. A minimum of a 12th-grade education is necessary. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to follow strict protocols. Good communication skills are important for coordination with medical staff. You should be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player. Familiarity with sterilization equipment and practices is highly beneficial.
