Overview :A CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) technician is responsible for the cleaning, sterilisation, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment to ensure patient safety and prevent infections. Their duties include operating sterilisation equipment like autoclaves, inspecting and assembling instruments, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with medical staff.

Key responsibilities

Decontamination and cleaning: Perform cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies.

Sterilization: Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, to ensure proper functioning and document processes.

Inspection and assembly: Inspect, assemble, and package reusable medical instruments and equipment according to specific guidelines and protocols.

Inventory management: Maintain inventory records, manage stock levels, and ensure timely restocking of sterilised items.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Full-time (240 days including holiday).
