Key Responsibilities:

Analysis Product Cost- Material cost, Manufacturing cost, Others

Target Cost setup to internal department

Cost Track: Estimate vs Actual

Required Functional Skills :

Basic Product Knowledge

Should be Competent in MS Excel/PPT

Product Costing -Brakes / Steering / Suspension / Power Electronics

Key Objectives & Deliverables:

Quotation Schedule & cost - Schedule meeting with CFT members to understand the Spec requirements

Validate the cost given by Purchase, production & PPC Team

Cost Analysis the Cost with similar model spec

Set target cost to purchase

Push the CFT team to adopt all cost reduction ideas

Generate new ideas for cost saving/design optimization

Review with management and release the quotation cost to marketing

Target Cost -Target Cost setup within 6 months after awarded the Business

Cost Track - Cost Tracking to be done based on Gate review like GR#2, GR#4..etc..

Analysis the Cost Impact with Target PBt

Segregate the EO Changes like internal, Customer

Reporting PBt status

Purchase order approval based on Target cost
