position overview

we are seeking a senior content strategist & writer — a strategic storyteller and hands-on content expert who will own softlink’s content ecosystem across multiple platforms. this role goes beyond writing — it combines strategic planning, messaging architecture, content execution, and brand voice governance to position softlink global as a thought leader in the logistics-tech domain. the ideal candidate is a mature professional with the ability to balance creative excellence and strategic thinking, capable of building and scaling a content engine that drives engagement, lead generation, and brand authority.

key responsibilities

1. content strategy & governance

develop and lead the overall content strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, product positioning, and global marketing campaigns.

define the content roadmap — including themes, topics, tone, and messaging frameworks — that communicate softlink’s vision and value proposition.

collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, and design) to craft a unified brand narrative across all touchpoints.

own the brand’s voice and tone guide, ensuring consistency across all communication formats and regions.

2. content creation & execution

write clear, compelling, and high-quality content for diverse formats, including but not limited to: websites, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, product copy, campaign materials, and social media.

research and produce insightful, industry-relevant, and seo-optimized content that reflects domain depth in logistics, supply chain, and freight forwarding.

leverage storytelling techniques to humanize complex technology concepts and enhance audience engagement.

guide and mentor junior writers or external agencies, ensuring that output aligns with brand standards and strategic intent.

3. campaign & collaboration

partner with the digital marketing and demand generation teams to plan and execute integrated campaigns supported by high-performing content assets.

collaborate with product marketing to translate product capabilities into customer-centric narratives and marketing collateral.

work with design and multimedia teams to ideate and co-create visual and video content for omnichannel communication.

develop and maintain a structured content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and balance between brand storytelling, product content, and market education.

4. performance & optimization

monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools (google analytics, semrush, ahrefs, etc.), and make data-driven recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.

stay updated with emerging trends in seo, content formats, and industry communication styles.

experiment with new formats — thought leadership, newsletters, video scripts, and long-form reports — to elevate the brand’s content maturity.

5. thought leadership & market positioning

identify white-space opportunities and drive thought leadership initiatives through blogs, research reports, and editorial collaborations.

work closely with senior leadership to develop executive communication pieces — including keynote messages, opinion articles, and internal communications.

represent the brand narrative at an industry level, helping position softlink global as an innovation leader in the logistics-tech space.

6. ai & content intelligence

be proficient in leveraging ai content tools (chatgpt, jasper, grammarly, gemini, perplexity, etc.) for ideation, refinement, and optimization — using ai as a creative enhancer, not a replacement.

develop frameworks, prompt libraries to streamline content creation processes for scale and consistency.

ensure originality, authenticity, and compliance in all ai-assisted outputs.

what we’re looking for

5–7 years of professional experience in content writing, content marketing, or brand storytelling — ideally within the technology, saas, or logistics domain.

proven experience in leading or strategizing content campaigns, not just execution.

bachelor’s degree in mass communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

a robust portfolio demonstrating strategic storytelling, long-form and short-form writing, and measurable content impact.

strong understanding of seo principles, analytics tools, and digital content funnels.

excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
