Content moderators play an integral role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for social media users. The primary role of a content moderator is to identify, classify, annotate, and label predetermined user-submitted online content, as well as review project guidelines and specifications for the purpose of providing client with the necessary feedback on process improvements.
Responsibilities
Review content and ensure that community guidelines are met while upholding a high standard of accuracy and quality
Willingness to take on other responsibilities, as needed
Qualifications
Adept at social media language and slang
Advance familiarity with current and developing social media trends and other popular culture references.
Highly detail oriented
Ability to make quick, educated decisions
Flexibility to meet changing deadlines and client requirements
Access to a computer
