Content Editors work closely with the author(s) to develop content and provide editorial support for them as per the BPB Style Guidelines & templates which includes but is not limited to - grammar checks, sentence rephrasing, para phrasing, checking the structure/flow of the content.

Conducting research on the technology of the title they have been assigned so that they have some basic understanding of the technology.

They will address queries or concerns raised by the technical reviewers of the book and act as intermediaries between the author(s) and technical reviewers.

Scheduling activities to ensure that content is received in a timely manner, and also accommodates any delays that occur.

They will be handling multiple titles/authors at a time, they must be good at multi-tasking and maintaining a track of their follow-ups and deadlines.
