machine shop operator - • set up and operate cnc/vmc machines as per production requirements.

• read and interpret work instructions.

• monitor machine operations to ensure quality and productivity.

• inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).

• make necessary offsets and adjustments to correct deviations.

• maintain production logs and update job cards as required.

• perform basic preventive maintenance of machines.

• report machine faults or abnormalities immediately to the supervisor.

• ensure housekeeping (5s) and safety practices are followed at the workstation.

• work collaboratively with the quality and maintenance teams.
