CNC Operator - Job Description

Position: CNC Operator

Location: Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh

Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing

Qualification: ITI / Diploma - Mechanical preferred

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience preferred

Salary: Based on experience & company norms

Working Days: 5 days per week

Job Responsibilities:

Operate CNC turning/milling machines as per production requirements.

Set tools, work offsets, and machine parameters.

Read and understand engineering drawings.

Perform in-process inspection using vernier, micrometer, gauges, etc.

Monitor machine operation and identify abnormalities.

Maintain required component dimensions and quality standards.

Perform basic tool changes and machine adjustments.

Follow production targets, safety procedures, and workplace discipline.

Maintain 5S and proper housekeeping in the work area.

Report quality issues and machine abnormalities to the supervisor.

Skills Required:

CNC machine operation knowledge

Drawing reading

Measuring instrument knowledge

Good attention to detail

Basic troubleshooting skills

Willingness to work in a production environment
