job description:

i. machine setup and operation:

• prepare and set up cnc vertical machining centers based on job requirements.

• load program files and set machine parameters according to part specifications.

• install and secure appropriate cutting tools, collets, and fixtures.

• verify machine settings and make adjustments as needed.

• safely operate cnc machines, monitor the machining process, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• maintain optimal machine performance by conducting routine maintenance and cleaning.

ii. quality control and inspection:

• perform in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy of machined parts.

• use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions.

• make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

• identify and address any non-conforming parts or deviations from specifications.

iii. documentation and reporting:

• maintain accurate records of production activities, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine maintenance logs.

• document any issues, deviations, or process improvements encountered during machining operations.

• report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
