Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce components as per engineering drawings.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices.
Load, run, and monitor CNC programs to ensure correct machining operations.
Maintain surface finishes, dimensions, and geometric tolerances according to specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Troubleshoot machine errors, tool wear, or programming issues.
Coordinate with programming engineers to optimize machining processes.
Ensure workpieces are produced efficiently with minimal waste.
Record production data, machine settings, and quality reports.
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Work on 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines as required.
Assist in training junior machinists or operators if needed.
