Responsibilities;

Set up and operate machinery: Set up the machine for production, and perform repetitive machining operations like turning, milling, and drilling

Read blueprints: Interpret blueprints and job orders to determine machining operations

Inspect and measure: Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions of parts and inspect finished products

Maintain machinery: Perform routine maintenance, including changing tool inserts and collets, and maintaining coolant and oil levels

Troubleshoot: Identify malfunctions and troubleshoot processes

Document: Record machine actions and document manufactured quantities

Follow procedures: Follow work orders, blueprints, and safety procedures
