Urgent Requirement For Sinumerik CNC Automation

Desired Qualification and Experience Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in commissioning, technical support, testing, or troubleshooting of CNC and industrial automation systems.

• Hands-on experience with SINUMERIK CNC products, particularly SINUMERIK 840D SL, is strongly preferred.

• Experience in machine tool applications, CNC system integration, or automation product testing will be an advantage.

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting SINUMERIK 840D SL CNC systems.

• Good understanding of CNC control systems, machine tool applications, and associated automation architectures.

• Experience in diagnosing technical issues, analyzing system behavior, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Working knowledge of PLCs and CNC integration, including SIMATIC PLCs, PLC programming, and associated engineering tools.

• Understanding of drive systems, particularly SINAMICS, and their integration with SINUMERIK CNC controls.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues systematically.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to support international customers and collaborate with global engineering teams.

• Ability to manage multiple technical issues, prioritize activities, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Experience commissioning SINUMERIK 828D or SINUMERIK 808 CNC control systems.

• Experience commissioning SINAMICS S, G, and V series drives and SIMOTICS motors.

• Familiarity with drive engineering and commissioning tools such as Startdrive and STARTER.

• Experience configuring and programming SIMATIC PLCs using TIA Portal, SIMATIC Manager, or related PLC programming tools.

• Knowledge of SINUMERIK digitalization products and associated software solutions.

• Experience with project planning, task tracking, and test execution management tools.

• Experience working with multi-site, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.

• Ability to contribute to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
