Sr. Civil Engineer

Project Management:

Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.

Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

Monitor and manage project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.

Identify and mitigate potential project risks.

Design and Engineering:

Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety.

Select appropriate materials and construction methods.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff.

Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members.

Foster a culture of safety and professionalism.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Client Relations:

Liaise with clients to understand project objectives, expectations, and constraints.

Provide regular project updates and address client concerns.

Manage client relationships and seek opportunities for additional work.

Construction Oversight:

Monitor construction activities to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

Conduct site inspections and address construction issues as they arise.

Review and approve construction change orders.

Budget and Cost Control:

Track project expenditures and control costs to stay within budget.

Prepare and review cost estimates and proposals for new projects.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, drawings, and correspondence.

Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
