Key Responsibilities
Loading/Unloading: Move cargo, luggage, and freight between vehicles, warehouses, and aircraft.
Safety & Security: Secure cargo using nets, straps, and braces to prevent damage during transport.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, tugs, and conveyor belts.
Documentation: Review shipping documents, labels, and manifests to ensure accuracy.
Inspection: Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies to management.
Weight Management: Assist in calculating and distributing weight evenly in aircraft or trucks
Qualifications
Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy items, stand, kneel, and bend for long periods.
Experience: Previous warehouse, logistics, or cargo handling experience is often preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
Age Requirement: Often requires applicants to be at least 21 years old, especially for airport roles
