A cargo loader is responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and securing cargo while ensuring safety, proper documentation, and coordination with team members.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and Unloading: Handle cargo, baggage, and mail, ensuring items are moved on and off aircraft, trucks, or shipping containers efficiently and safely.

Cargo Organization: Arrange cargo to balance weight distribution and prevent damage during transit.

Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, conveyors, hand trucks, hoists, and other loading equipment, performing routine maintenance checks as needed.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations, perform inspections, and ensure cargo is secured to prevent accidents or damage.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, verify shipping invoices, and complete load plans or manifests.

Communication and Coordination: Work closely with ground crew, flight crew, or warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
