Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting various diagnostic tests on patients to evaluate their cardiac health.
- Performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) to monitor heart activity and diagnose abnormalities.
- Assisting with stress tests to evaluate heart function under physical exertion.
- Conducting echocardiograms to create images of the heart for analysis.
2. Maintaining accurate patient records and test results.
- Documenting test procedures, results, and patient information for medical records.
- Ensuring confidentiality and complying with data privacy regulations.
3. Assisting physicians during cardiac procedures and surgeries.
- Preparing equipment and instruments for procedures.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs during treatment.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Diploma in Cardiac Technology or related field.
2. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
3. Experience in conducting EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
