A Business Development Executive (BDE) is a strategic growth specialist responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building high-level partnerships, and increasing long-term company value. Unlike a traditional Sales Executive who focuses on individual transactions, a BDE focuses on the entire sales funnel-from the first hello to the final contract.

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is a hunter role. You are responsible for finding untapped markets, creating entry strategies, and initiating conversations with decision-makers. The goal is to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads that can be converted into long-term revenue. This role requires a blend of marketing intelligence, networking skills, and a deep understanding of the Value Proposition-why a client should choose your company over a competitor.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research: Identifying emerging trends, competitor weaknesses, and new industry sectors (., green energy or electronics) in the Maharashtra region.

Lead Generation: Using LinkedIn, industry directories, and networking events (like NIMA or AIMA exhibitions) to find potential B2B clients.

Pitching & Presentation: Drafting tailored proposals and delivering impactful presentations that focus on solving the client's specific pain points.

Strategic Networking: Attending trade fairs and business meetups to represent the brand and build a database of high-value contacts.

Collaboration: Working with the technical or production teams to ensure that the company can actually deliver what is being promised in the pitch.

CRM Management: Maintaining a clean record of all outreach efforts, follow-ups, and the health of the business pipeline.
