Job Description

key responsibilities

1. lead generation and prospecting

market research: identify potential markets, client types, and industries for the company's products or services.

cold outreach: execute proactive outreach strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate new sales leads.

lead qualification: diligently qualify leads to determine their potential, fit, and readiness to purchase, ensuring efficient use of sales resources.

2. sales pipeline management

pipeline building: develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, actively tracking progress through all stages of the sales cycle in a crm system (., salesforce, hubspot).

meetings and presentations: schedule and conduct initial meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations for potential clients.

proposal development: work with the technical and sales teams to prepare tailored proposals, quotes, and tender responses.

3. client acquisition and negotiation

relationship building: establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organizations.

negotiation: lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to successfully close new deals and meet or exceed revenue quotas.

handover: seamlessly transition newly acquired clients to the account management or operations team for fulfillment and ongoing support.

4. reporting and strategy

reporting: provide accurate weekly and monthly forecasts, pipeline reports, and sales activity summaries to management.

feedback: act as a bridge between the market and the product team, sharing customer feedback and market intelligence to help inform product development and marketing strategies.
