Job Description

as a blood bank technician, your responsibilities will include:

- performing blood typing, cross-matching, and antibody screening tests

- identifying and resolving abo and rh blood group discrepancies

- ensuring accurate labeling of blood products and maintaining proper storage conditions

- performing routine quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results

- assisting in the coordination of blood transfusions and monitoring patients during transfusion reactions

- following established protocols for emergency response procedures, such as massive transfusion protocols.
